We hope you have had the opportunity to connect with the new teachers in your school.
While some professional learning occurs individually, particularly to address professional growth plans, the more one educator’s learning is shared and supported by others, the more quickly the culture of continuous improvement, collective responsibility, and high expectations for students and educators grows.

SLEMPIE!
Welcome back from a wonderful summer "off".  It has been nice to work with and see many of you over the past week.  I look forward to working with Teachers, Schools and Coaches this year!  With so many changes please remember the various places to find answers to questions.

1.  Ask a colleague
2.  Google your question (my personal favorite)
3.  https://sites.google.com/a/wrsd.ca/wrsd-fc-to-google/
4.  Send me an email and I will try to find an answer (I am new to this too.  We are all learning together).

Whatever you do.....DO NOT suffer in silence!
Don't forget to check out Slempie's Pick of the Week at http://wrsdtech.weebly.com/pick-of-the-week.html.  Stay tuned for Tech Tuesday Elluminate sessions!  Happy googling!
